Awww I can really understand that you are going to be sad to see them go Adele but please do rest assured they are going to be much loved and very well looked after here... Also you are very welcome to come and visit any time you want to.

I'm not always too brilliant at finding the time to post on the forum but will make special effort to keep everyone updated with JJ and Mylo and post photos.

Can't wait to meet them this evening and want to reiterate thanks and say what an absolute star Jay is for helping with their transport

I'm so so happy these two are going to have much love and attention that they deserve after what they have both been through ..
del bab you've done a fantastic job bringing them on and shown loads of time & patience i'm sure they'll remember you for years to come and be truly greatfull to you .. abig pat on the back from me ..

and caron good luck bab i hope they behave themselves for you and you all have many happy years together ..
well done to all involved in seeing that these two gems have a second chance of a better life think of where they would be now if nobody stepped in ?!

Just to let everyone know that Mylo has arrived safely here now, thanks to Jay's efforts. He's a feisty little character but a sweetheart underneath all the attitude.

Sadly he has come alone as he and JJ apparently had a falling out this morning which resulted in a bit of a fight. Hopefully it will be just a minor spat and the lovebirds can be reunited in the next week or so as he's looking a bit lonely without her.

(edited to say was talking about Mylo's character in second sentence not Jay's! )

With the lighter mornings my lot are waking up earlier... Well we were treated to a wonderful 'dawn chorus' first thing this morning with the new arrival!! A good half hour of full volume Macaw good mornings (Mylo in the breakfast room and my three in the bird room, shouting back and forth to one another) Lol and nightingales they aint!

Would love to know what they're saying... "What cell you in?" "What you in for?" "How long you got?"... perhaps????? Bless 'em

Mylo seems to be settling quite nicely and has been stepping up and allowing a few tickles especially with my partner Paul who is quite taken with him! Will post a couple of photos of the little sweetheart in his new surroundings shortly

Mylo is in a different room to the others so he doesn't have any birdy company at the moment other than calling to them. He is in a busy family room though so has lots of human interaction.

My lot tend to hang out in the bird room unless they are taxied out on someone's shoulder. However after letting them out this morning and giving them breakfast, I came upstairs to write the previous post. Came out of the bedroom to find Mylo had made his way upstairs to find us! PMSL!!

Blimey - bit extreme to split them up after all the time they've been together, were they actually drawing blood? No doubt absence will make the heart grow fonder and when they meet again next week they'll be all over each other! I guess you're going to have fun today then Caron, setting up the Pallace cage, maybe Mylo will want to help!!
