Do as you see fit,today i've been called a thief an incompetent and watched various volunteers publicly critisized for trying to do good from transporters carers down to myself and will now put a stop to it.UKPR has been running just over 12 months and yes there are things that need to be changed,if anyone is expecting us to be perfect so soon try looking at it from our point of view.Like i said,do as you see fit as i assure you i will be taking my own steps yet again.

my opion is that when any bird or birds are donated to ukpr.you being ukpr should have a perminant home has these birds have allready hade it bad.they go in e-care,and settle in at there as they think new home to be upped again.and it all starts again fore the poor buggers.has far as transporting 2 makaws in one box what can i say.transporting parrots from all over england to the nps i would never ever put 2 birds in one box.has in there case even though they were a bonded pair,the up-set would have upset them and made them aggressive to each other.being intellegent as they are they would have known some think was a miss when people started to go in the room,to move them.i never let my birds out in my home together becauce you never know what can happen.it goes to show with these two birds things can and do turn. thats my opion .but i do think straight in to the new home,for the birds sake.

Nobody expects you to be perfect Vikky, we all make mistakes and then move on, its just whether or not we are humble enough to admit them and then put them right to the best of our ability?
We should all be open to be challenged about injustice, either to ourselves or others, look at the injustice to the poor birds you have to rescue, isnt that what this forum is all about (injustice)?
You have a good forum here, many good members and you do a lot of good work, so do not lose sight of your values and integrity. Read what Pauline mentioned earlier about charities.
Think about things, and the core issue here should be JJ and Mylos well being, and nothing else, so please do not lose sight of that here in your unwillingness to accept you are wrong and have made a mistake.
Time will tell...

if you listened to people that have a little bit of know how between us all we can do a bit better.i have transported hundreds of parrots-smaller birds-and swans all over the country and not being big headed i think i could help.i think the two birds should have been shut in there cages for a start.and one at a time taken out one at a time.and then there would not been any fighting.knowing you are going to move birds always keep them in there cages.biggest problem solvd .all ways seperate them.when theyer travling put them beside each outher so they can see each outher,never together.just becauce the people help outher groups why push them aside.they can help 2 groups the same,after all is it not for the bird,.

This all comes across as very unprofessional.
Caron is being made to look like she is the 'bad' one in all of this, when actually she is not. Mylo has arrived with her now as per the arrangements made and JJ should follow (the sooner the better). I dont understand why Vikky wants to backtrack it all and return Mylo back to Adele. Its obvious that due to Adeles health issues that Caron is the best option. If the birds were to stay with Adele what happens when the Alveolitis gets worse and then she has to give up the birds then!!!
Can nobody see sense and reasoning and the FACTS!!!!!!!!!!
