The fact is though that were stressed and one injured so I think the correct decision was made to leave jj behind to recover properly, perhaps it may even have been better to leave them both where they were and try again at another time but I dont expect that would have went down well either. We are all human and mistakes do get made, we cant live our lives by "what ifs" the fact of the matter is these 2 NEED to be together regardless of who may or may not be to blame. *disgusted*

Another thing I forgot to mention is that apart from these 2 darlings suffering, yet more money is going to be taken from other birds in need because of stupid and needless legal action if thats what it ends up coming down to!!!!!!!!!

Things usually don't run smoothly in life and often people will disagree and make mistakes or things change. Everybody wants the best for the two birds but that isn't always an easy thing to do. Working together is always the best way to sort things out, not airing dirty linen to point out how badly you've been treated or how incompitent people are or how you've been diddled out of a cage that didn't belong to you anyway and that you are now holding hostage a bird that doesn't belong to you. I am shocked beyond belief, whether you are right or wrong about any of your concerns.
The cage seems to be the main jist of your greivence. So, someone forgot to update the thread when the cage wasn't going to be used for JJ and Mylo. Is that a sin worthy of such disdain?
Please don't forget that we are all volunteers here and give our time freely to help the birds, do you really think we need this? The staff that run this rescue are a wonderful bonded group of people that give up huge amounts of time and money for the birds but we also have to add heartache and churning stomachs and sleepless nights when someone decides to behave in this manner.
I realise you think you are the right and maybe others do agree with you, but usually there is a compromise to be had somewhere in the middle and as I said before, one which is arrived at in private.
Right now this has become a very emotive issue and all the mud slinging, I think this, and my opinion is that doesn't help anyone least of all JJ and Mylo.
Please everyone remember that we are all human, all just doing our best.
This is not foot stomping 2cay2, it is about defending the rights of two poor birds that have been pushed from pillar to post.

You will find that Vikky was the one who set this course of action when she posted in the open forum that she wanted Mylo back because of the questions posed over the Pallace cage, so please do not apportion blame.
This isnt about being diddled out of a cage, this was pointing something out (the cage) that has turned into a verbal fight with UKPR mods ganging up on yet another member, Caron this time, and demanding the re-homed bird back because she has dared to simply ask questions.
Mylo is not being held hostage, he is sitting here waiting for JJ to join him as was arranged, or the RSPCA/Police collecting him and asking why they need to, and then taking a statement.
When you talk about the cage being the sin worthy of disdain, you forget the story behind the little finch, unless you do not know about that one?
Why should this discussion be held in private and not on the open forum? Caron has nothing to hide.
If there is a compromise to be had over this issue then pm Caron.
Before signing off, ask yourself what the "great news update" is about on the thread title, and the reason why that is no longer "great news".
A Pallace cage that was destined for JJ and Mylo that Adele kept for herself springs to mind.
And just because you are a mod do not target Caron as if she is in the wrong here and you are right!!!

Can I just say I'm not bothered about the damn cage and would have willingly bought them another.
I simply questioned what was happening with the donated cage and this all kicked off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
