We should all actually stand behind the people who are responsible for making the decisions and respect whatever they decide.

So very sad thats all I can say, these birds have gone to hell and back, now they are confused and lonely pining for each other! Caron you said you are a devoted rescuer or something along those lines so please let mylo go back and join jj and prove that instead of letting them suffer, and then perhaps something can be sorted out properly like adults. If all this is really about a cage then shame on you!!!! oh and regarding the travelling arrangements, I wouldn't even let a stressed fish travel never mind a highly intelligent parrot!!! so I believe jay and adele made a spot on correct decision. So to get to the point, Caron please find it in your heart to return mylo so the two can be reunited and then sort it out properly as to what is going to be best for the birds before you and your family form a strong bond with him.

The unanimous decision (read the thread) was that the best place for JJ and Mylo was with me!! That changed within a few short hours of me posing questions about their bloody cage!!!

Go figure!!!

sorry jay but if the two birds had not been allowed out of there cage .how could the other bird attack the other.and if the bird had not beeb attacked you could have transported both.allways make sure the birds are shut in ther cage.same as they say you learn by your mistakes.never mess when other bird are out.not pulling you down but allways remember dont give them chance to hurt themselfs.

)
I am completely appauld at this very public display of foot stamping. Paul have you stopped to consider the damage you are doing by airing your grevences this way? Don't you think it would have been more appropriate to sort this out privately in a manner of understanding?
Things usually don't run smoothly in life and often people will disagree and make mistakes or things change. Everybody wants the best for the two birds but that isn't always an easy thing to do. Working together is always the best way to sort things out, not airing dirty linen to point out how badly you've been treated or how incompitent people are or how you've been diddled out of a cage that didn't belong to you anyway and that you are now holding hostage a bird that doesn't belong to you. I am shocked beyond belief, whether you are right or wrong about any of your concerns.

The cage seems to be the main jist of your greivence. So, someone forgot to update the thread when the cage wasn't going to be used for JJ and Mylo. Is that a sin worthy of such disdain?

Please don't forget that we are all volunteers here and give our time freely to help the birds, do you really think we need this? The staff that run this rescue are a wonderful bonded group of people that give up huge amounts of time and money for the birds but we also have to add heartache and churning stomachs and sleepless nights when someone decides to behave in this manner.
I realise you think you are the right and maybe others do agree with you, but usually there is a compromise to be had somewhere in the middle and as I said before, one which is arrived at in private.
Right now this has become a very emotive issue and all the mud slinging, I think this, and my opinion is that doesn't help anyone least of all JJ and Mylo.
Please everyone remember that we are all human, all just doing our best.

Are you lot not reading the thread properly!!!

Its not about the bloody cage now is it

Go re-read the thread again. One minute the birds are going to Caron and then because Caron says something that has upset the 'boss & associates' then the bird has to go back to Adele

Its not the 1st time this has happened is it

Adele - when you were first diagnosed with alveolitis, you posted on this thread -

due to personal reasons mylo and jj have had to go back into my spare bedroom again, which isnt really nice for them as they have got used to household living

so its now more important than ever to find them their new mummy/daddy

So, has Adele's Alveolitis disappeared now, or did she not have it in the first place? If she has this, then its certainly only going to get worse with all the birds in the house, along with the smoking Them being in a spare bedroom is not going to make the alveolitis go away. Surely your health is more important than trying to hold onto 2 birds. You have a son to consider. If you realise how serious alveolitis is then that should be your first consideration.

These birds will be better off with Caron - the sooner you realise that the better.

im sorry but this thread is supposed to be about mylo and jj not my heath,if i choose to keep birds then its at my risk, what do you want kgrant a number to my chest consultant to verify my condition?

yes i have it but in the early stages

mick sue fisher, jay spent over 14 hours yesterday transporting for ukpr and i think its very wrong to question his transporting skills,he was brill and im proud of what he did

crate wise mylo and jj came in 1 and were fine, but how they were going yesterday there was no way i would let jj travel in that state even if we had 2 carriers

I think we should press the reset button and start again; and I'm really trying not to take 'sides' in this.

Well I just hope you lot are happy. You remind me of the type who are not happy until everything has been ground down, everyone thoroughly slagged off and ripped apart. Well everyone is miserable, birds are seperated and pining and people are upset and distressed WELL DONE - And to those who come along trying to stir the shit jsut dont even bother
